Laxman P Joshi
​Wing Commander Laxman Joshi is a Social and Technology Leader with three decades of experience in Lend A Hand India, HCLTech and Indian Air Force. He has managed Umeed Special School in Air Force and worked with many State Education Departments for Skilling of Children with Special Needs . In 2019, driven by his passion for making a meaningful impact, he transitioned from his corporate role to work full-time in the social sector.
In India Air Force he contributed to a prestigious Tri Services Strategic Project and indigenous projects like Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) and Advanced Light Helicopters (LCH) at DRDO. He also administered a school for Special Children.
He has done Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, Aeronautical Engineering from AFTC, and a Business Management course from MDI Gurgaon. He has also published articles on social issues and disability.​
MONALISA BANDYOPADHYAY
Monalisa Bandyopadhyay is an XLRI alumnus with more than a decade of experience in business development and corporate strategy in the insurance sector in India, US and UK. Post her corporate stint, she started her digital e-commerce venture in the women’s makeup and accessories space in India, called lookadora.com. She also published a pregnancy companion book with two renowned doctors from Mumbai for expecting parents, called “We Are Pregnant”.
During the pandemic, she joined the social sector as a volunteer, and continued her social sector work with full-time and consulting roles in Missing Link Trust, VigyanShaala, Swapnopuron, and others helping these organizations raise funds and forge partnerships.
